This fully customizable calendar with notes, tasks, alarms and contacts provides seamless integration and interactivity with the desktop background. You can organize your data in layers and share them with other people on a local area network. The program can integrate with Outlook to show its appointments and tasks on the desktop. Preset calendars with holidays for many different countries are included with the program. There are options for changing calendar icons, fonts and colors, marking weekdays of choice and marking dates with notes and/or alarms. You can have a text only version of the calendar and choose between displaying one, two or three months on the desktop. More than 250 icons divided in 9 categories are available for marking notes. Recurrence patterns are available for both notes and alarms. An alarm can be stand alone or attached to a note. If interactive desktop option is enabled, the program accepts direct clicks on dates, notes and tasks displayed on the desktop. You can set each note to normal, private or invisible desktop view. Printing calendar data is easy and includes an option to choose date range for printing notes. Built-in address book allows you to maintain detailed information about all your contacts, personal and business alike. Importing contacts from Outlook, Outlook Express and Windows Address Book is possible. Google and other web based iCal calendars are supported through direct connection with their ICS files. Special desktop pictures option will let you add some of your pictures to existing desktop background. For importing and exporting calendar data the program supports iCal and comma separated values CSV formats. The program saves daily backup automatically. Tablet PC users should not worry as the program detects desktop orientation changes automatically. Finally, Active Desktop Calendar comes with world clock screen saver that shows your computer's system time, plus five major time zones around the world.

This program offers wide range of sound quality parameters to be used for recording. You can work with various sampling rates (11/22/32/44/48/88/96/192 kHz), sample sizes (8-bit or 16-bit) and choose between mono or stereo sound. User interface is simple and provides a selection of keyboard shortcuts (e.g. jump playback for quick reviews) with most important controls available in off-focus mode and accessible while working with other programs. Claudio comes with a track editor for making cut-outs and splitting, transcription playback mode, mouse wheel support, endless loop playback, two-track mixer, pre-amplifier, some interesting playback effects (echo, equalizer, flanger and pitch), support for unattended scheduled recordings and exact time positioning bar (ETP) for quick and precise navigation within a sound track. Recording time is limited only by available free space on a target hard drive and its file system. You can import/export WAV, OGG Vorbis and MP3 files and use an option to send recordings directly by e-mail. Claudio can also create stand alone executable exports: EXE files containing both a little player and recorded material itself.

This program allows you to take meeting minutes through recording discussion and adding text summaries. The audio recorder built in the program saves each new recording as a separate section and offers real-time OGG audio compression and voice operated recording mode. It also features transcription playback mode, audio editor for making cut-outs, Exact Time Positioner (ETP) bar for quick and precise positioning within a recorded section, mouse wheel support and a selection of keyboard shortcuts with the most important controls available in off-focus mode and accessible while working with other programs. All recordings are 8-bit, mono, with 44KHz as the default sampling rate, but you can also use 22KHz and 11KHz. On the other hand, Minutes of Meeting Recorder provides a number of rich-text fields, enabled with basic formatting options, for creating standard meeting summary consisting of information about subject, date and place, present people, agenda, actions and closure. Both text and audio are saved to the same meeting file that you can easily share using the option for attaching meeting file directly to a new e-mail. Additionally, the program can export meeting notes to RTF file and export/import audio sections to/from WAV, OGG and MP3 files. Meeting file size can go up to 2GB which gives you more than 12 hours of uncompressed recording.

This easy to use voice notes program records from microphone and all other sound sources you have with your sound card. There are three microphone modes to choose from: normal, spy and voice operated recording. The program also has two working modes, digital and analog. In digital mode a cassette file consists of several recorded messages and each click on Record button creates a new message, while in analog mode a cassette file represents one continual rewritable message.
