This small, low CPU usage program will automatically backup your USB flash drives when they are plugged into your computer or laptop. The program starts up with your computer and monitors which USB devices are plugged in. The program keeps an individual backup for each USB device, and can be configured to keep more than one backup of a device so that you can return to a previous file stage should the original become corrupt. You are able to stop and restart backups quickly with the system tray icon, allowing you to prevent backing up of a device if it is a friends or you dont require a backup. The icon in the system tray changes depending on the state of the program, this makes it easy to identify whether a backup is taking place. The program keeps backups in groups of day (e.g. 5 days will make a backup for the period of the 10th to the 14th), you can now specify the length of these groups, allowing you to control your backups more effectively. You can select how many of the groups (backup copies) you wish to keep on your computer. Version 5 brings yet more control to your figure tips, the new options page allows you to quickly change the backup directory and the number of backup copies you wish to keep. It also allows you to specify which drives you always want to backup, those you never want to backup, and those that you should be asked about. If you don't specify whether you want a backup of a particular device to be made a small dialog box will appear at the bottom of your screen when the device is plugged in, asking you whether you wish to make a backup or not. Simply click yes or no, for this action to be made every time the device is plugged in click on the remember this setting box.

Do you ever leave your computer copying lots of files to a backup device for several hours and come back to find that Windows has had a problem copying one of the files and stopped the copy process only five minutes after you left. This can be really annoying, it then makes it much harder to copy across the rest of your files, and waists your time because you cant leave the computer to get on with the job. Well Copier solves this problem, this unique application copies files from one directory to another and if a file cannot be copied a note is made and the copy process continues. This way all your files can be copied in one go, and you dont have to worry about leaving your computer. At the end of the copy process a dialog box is displayed telling you which files couldnt be copied, allowing you to try again.
